Are we total geeks or what!...I could sit and leaf through those load books like each page is a centerfold...hahaha so pathetic...there is something very romantic about those shiny little cartridges.
I was floating around the internet one winter and decided to order 2 of those recipe books..
30-30 win, and i think 25-06..
They are so handy..I wish the print quality was better, some of my book looks pretty suspicious ..like when they were collecting the data and found more on the floor under table..oh here's another page.. print this data also..its a good one..
It's like some one took all the reloading manual found the most popular loads for a specific cartridge and cramed them all in the same book..
Pretty cool idea.
What if you hate to reload but do it out of necessity..lots of folks here in the US..at least every one I know has at least a 12ga. And a 30-30..those two gun belong in every home..
Just like a furnace or hot water heater..they are still in 2023 essential tools to have on hand ..and can fix a problem when nothing else can.
If you only own one or two guns..at least keep load data available with those two guns ..now my OCD says to buy load books and toss them in the gun case for that particular caliber..with the owners manual..(it comes in handy)
It's like having a car in the garage with no engine in it or repair manual..ior a cleaning rod ..

Went thru two of the 30-30 One Caliber one Book, before I sold all my 30-30's.
First one has most of my notes. The second one I stayed shooting cast 45-70 and 30-30 lost its allure.
