30 06 for next build (Savage)

Looking for favorite loads. Going with savage PTA with CBI 28 to 30 in. Barrel, in a russo stock. Wanting something that will give my 7mm saums a challenage (target shooting).

I used the 210gr Berger for a season in a factory 24" WBY accumark.

Loaded to mag length, which worked out to be .050" deep. This also placed the bullet full in the neck with just the BT in the case. 54gr H4350 filled case right to the bullet........All equaled a perfect storm. Killed the FC brass but was a one hole gun.

H4350 being the better accuracy and RL17 giving the better velocity.
