We've been talking about Quantico F-class matches so let's see how many show for this,modified)F-class style
Date March 18'th
Place Quantico range 4
NO caliber restrictions up to 50 BMG.
NO brake restrictions
Legal can's,federal paperwork will be checked) OK
Bi-pods,bags,or packs for front rest
Bags only for rear rest
Shooters will carry all their own equipment,1 trip,no carts
800,900,1000 yd.shoot-45 rds total for score
All yd lines-When your relay is called you will have 5 minutes to set up
800 yd line-unlimited sighters 15 rds for score 30 min.time limit,sighters and record)
900 yd line-2 sighters 15 rds for score 20 min.time limit,sighters and record)
1000 yd line-2 sighters 15 rounds for score 20 min. time limit,sighters and record)
IBS targets will be used
Scoring ring dimensions:
X Ring- The X ring is 3" in diameter.
10 Ring- This ring is black and is 7" in diameter with a 4" white square centralized in it to help with sighting within the black rings.
9 Ring- This is the largest black ring on the target and it measures 13" in diameter.
8 Ring- This scoring ring measures 19" in diameter. All rings from 8 on out out are white rings only.
7 Ring- This scoring ring measures 25" in diameter.
6 Ring- This scoring ring measures 31" in diameter.
5 Ring- This scoring ring measures 37" in diameter.
What I'm going to try to do is let each participant have his target after the record rounds are shot,you will have 3 targets with your shots on them)
We will have paid pullers,included in the match fee's)PROBABLY won't have paid pullers on the first one as we'll have to payem anyway if noone shows!!!!
I will let you know what the match fee's will be as soon as possible,will be as reasonable as we can make them)
This is a work in progress so any feedback is welcome.If we get a good turnout for the first 3 matches more WILL follow.We'll put up a suggestion box to make the matches even better.,something like you suck will be frowned upon!!!!)
We're trying to make this as much fun and even the playing field as much as possible and get back to the spirit of good clean competition shooting .
ALSO there will no handling of weapons except on the shooting line so this will mean NO cleaning between strings.
Also bolts removed or,open bolt indicators in gas guns) at all times.
Also can shoot 20 at 1000 if enough interest for a 500 agg.
