3/08 Lapua brass into 7/08 Lapua brass??

I have gotten spoiled with the Lapua brass I have been using lately. The problem is that Lapua does not make brass for my 7/08, but they do make it in both .243 and 3/08. I was thinking that the 3/08 would only need to be neck sized down to .284 and I would have my Lapua 7/08 brass. Am I wrong in my thinking??

Nope..!!! lots-0-people do it...even make .243's from .308's and everytnig in between....just watch your neck thickness....dont get em too thick for your particular chamber....Roger
