Life just got a lot more interesting for the concealed carry permit holder. I am sure they will find something to charge him with. Have been known to listen to Chicago radio stations, so I have a little taste of the number of shootings taking place daily. My self, I never go near Chicago, or Milwaukee or Madison Wi. Just to dangerous. Used to believe that, "we as Americans had more in common than not", but 2020 has changed that for me.

Many years ago I flew into Milwaukee and Chicago O'Hara on a nightly basis and a few times laid over and it was always pleasant. A few years after that I had a few trade shows in Chicago and dinned at some the worlds class restaurants. Now there just isn't enough money to get me there. The article had 5 short paragraphs, four of the five consisted of one sentence. I guess a good guy with a gun doesn't get much coverage, wonder if he will ever get his gun back?

Way back in the mid-nineties I drove Long haul , and delivered fruit and veggies from Cali to the Water Street Market in Chi . For those who know the area , it's not someplace to dwell in , or near . Had a young man try to get into my Cab at three in the morning while waiting for the gate to open , and introduced him to my H & K . And in response to that other poster / The P.D. told me to forget about my gun , but there would be no charges filed . The perp had a record two blocks long , and was a repeat violent offender . Cops said I made their lives easier . And NO ! I don't have any trouble sleeping over that one . Some from Nam , yes . Sometimes . But not that one .
