Just for shits and grins,,I find my 284w likes 2800-2805 fps. I shot it at 2840-2850 last year but I’ve been testing a lower node,,,3” groups at 600 are ok but not match winners usually

I'm guessing number 3 and in for the test without the MS hanging on the barrel.

Were these 180 Hybrids?

I would retest without the magneto speed.

Forum Boss: The reason is that the MagnetoSpeed (normally) attaches to the barrel and this can affect both your accuracy and tune (that said, some guys have figured a way to attach the unit to the stock).

Ya, I was wondering about the bbl mounted MS. I have a tuner on it so I was thinking to run it out to simulate the MS.
Any pics of a stock mount MS?

Out of the 3 - No 3 - but It's not a match winner. Now adjust seating depth and neck tension for a 2 inch vertical and also test some more primers.

X ring isn't good enough? Tough crowd. (I rounded it up from 2.78", actually.)

Or I could just shoot the bayo in a match.
Yup, you could.
I've seen videos of Tubb shooting (not testing or practicing but shooting) with the MS on a bayonet mount.

Personally, I don't remember the last time I took the MS to the range. Way too easy with a radar and the Garmin is very good at capturing all my shots with nothing touching the gun.

Your call, just let me know and I'll bring you a Garmin to try.

Or you could come shoot the match and we could run them side by side or double up and see how they compare.

Go with Number 1! Chronograph data always trumps the target!

Only kidding. Your chronograph data anecdotally shows you load very consistent ammunition but there is no statistically significant difference in the three sets of data. There is a large difference in the 5 and 11 but there is too little data to prove the difference is real.

I would just shoot the three over again without the MS. Go with the target and then test the selected load with the MS.
