284 Shehane with 284 Norma brass?

Is anybody using 284 Norma brass and fire forming it into 284 Shehane. I’m looking for a no turn neck and not having to resize 6.5x284 Lapua Brass. I’m looking for something easy, I hate brass work. I have 500 pieces of Norma brass. The rifle is for 600-1000 yard f class. I was thinking about a 320 neck and 225 freebore. Any input would be nice.

I have a .319 neck/ .225" freebore reamer for a straight .284 on order with JGS. It was their/others recommendations for no turn/ Norma brass/ 180-184 Hybrids. I will be using 8.5tw barrels.

Thank you guys for all the advice. I was on the fence about the Shehane and decided to stick with the straight 284. Thanks for all the dimensions of the neck thickness and the freebore. I still need to get my dies, barrel, and bullets.

.320" ND does work very well with Norma brass. New F-Class single string record 200 23X was shot with that very combination.

^^^^ I specd' a .319" reamer and it is cutting it close for no-turn and Norma; .320" would be perfect. If you are having a reamer ground send them a couple of pieces of new brass so they can grind it for the proper base diameter. My reamer was ground for Lapua brass and it allows too much expansion of the base on Norma (near 0.001" smaller than Lapua or Peterson at the base out of the box) and my fired/resized brass would have clickers on extraction after 1 firing and the primer pockets were pretty loose on about half my cases using BR-2's. Instead of regrinding the reamer I switched to Peterson brass and all is well.
