Looks a tad slow compared to the 4 I've had....free bore and barrel length?
He may not have enough rounds down the barrel for it to have sped up yet... How many rounds have u fired?
I’m about 50 FPS faster than that barrel at 52 grains.. I’m 30” with 225 FB..
I'll have say no matter what barrel I screw into this action I have to use .5-1 grain more powder to get the same velocities as others do in the same chambering.
Example I'm shooting a 300 WSM with the same action using 64.5 grains H4350 some folks would lock up a bolt or blow primers this one shows no signs of pressure.
I've heard of slow barrels and slow lots of powder....but a slow action is certainly different...any idea as to why this is?
52.46 grains! (Smiles)Looks like the answer is clear!!!
52.3?52.46 grains! (Smiles)
52.46 grains is right in the middle.. might as well try it if you have a scale that goes to that.52.3?
Hmmmm I used to be good at math52.46 grains is right in the middle.. might as well try it if you have a scale that goes to that.
But I would do 52.3Hmmmm I used to be good at math
That too! Just so you know.. as most surely do.. i am just poking him in the ribs just a tad.. it might not make a difference in that case.. but i would be willing to try going .00 numbers say in a .223 instead of just hanging on the tenth! But I would do 52.3
Lol yea,but it's really hard to find the kernel of powder you tired to cut in half. That too! Just so you know.. as most surely do.. i am just poking him in the ribs just a tad.. it might not make a difference in that case.. but i would be willing to try going .00 numbers say in a .223 instead of just hanging on the tenth!
