284 Shehane IMR 7828ssc

Any one have any data for 7828 in the Shehane and the 180vld? Have a buddy loading for a match, but he has not time for load development before the match. Just hoping to get close.

I use 56.8grs of IMR 7828 (NOT SSC>>The "regular" stuff) with 180 Hybrids. It is super accurate, fast (2910) no primer pocket issues and E.S.'s under 10f.p.s. I also use Fed 210primers with it>>> it makes a HUGE difference..

for my 32" Bartlien there's a node between 56.1 to 56.5 for the hybrids, for the vld's jammed .012" it likes 55.2 with cci 250's @ 2900fps, with a shorter barrel you may have to go up a bit.

thanks for the help guys, my schedules been crazy, will have new barrels back from english rifles soon and only 1 full day to fireform and break it in before Oak ridge fclass next week. too close for comfort for me but why not try!

load your VLD's on top of 54.5g h4381 for fire forming and shoot them in the match, this load shot under .4 moa .

If your friend still has to fireform etc.. Try 55.0grs of IMR 7828. Stick the vld's 10K into the lands... He will be good to go and it shoots fairly well to boot..
