.284 Shehane & H4350

Is anyone using H4350 in your .284 Shehane?

I have had great results with H4831sc but I am almost to the end of a 8lb jug & I have a lot of H4350 and I have always liked H4350 better.

I have been fighting vertical stringing with my shehane from the beginning, but I have less with the 4350 than 4831sc. I am trying to shoot 180 jlk's. The velocity is just a little slower maybe 20 fps.

I maxed out around 53grs. Give good velocities and good accuratcy...ES and SD weren't as low as the 4831sc for me though..

I'll tell you how to do a taste test, it will work for your barrel too.

Hey Dean,
Sorry I can't help with the loading info. I will be trying a straight 284 Win for 1000 yds later this year with my own 180's. It's pretty funny that I moved in next to your brother. What's even more funny is that he used to play football with my little brother 27 years ago!

Good luck with the 284 Shehane and if you have any load data for H4350 and a 180 Berger in a straight 284 Win, let me know.
