.280 Ackley Imp reamer print

I am thinking of building a .280 AI and was wondering if anyone had some reamer prints you could share with me? I have one from PTG and want to see what else might be out there.

I have searched and couldn't find anything.

Get ahold of expiper he has a print so you can use the lapua 30-06 brass with a slight shorter neck dimension on the reamer.

I just had a barrel cut with the PTG match reamer for 280AI with .313 neck and .188 freebore. I will use nosler brass and Berger 180 hybrid.

that is kinda what I had in mind using was Lapua '06 brass. I was wanting to see some base size's to figure out what size die to use.

Joe,,,talk to Kiff ,he is the best in the industry...,,he can make you a reamer that works with the modern day Redding Dies(you don't need the exotic $$$ homemade dies if you get the right reamer) there is more to it than just getin the front end of the ctg right,,,the back end at the .200 line and the shoulder dia, and body taper are of paramount importance,,,(mine is type -S..full length) and made to 30-06 length,,,~,2.5"...316ND,,,.190-.220 FB depending on bullet,,,,he is an expert ,,tell him your bullet and he will fix you up. Neck down from 30-06,,,make false shoulder ,,,just enuff tension to have to palm the bolt shut,,,FF with Universal Clays(55% of case full) and 1/4 sq of TP..NO BULLET !!!....( I use .308 Wilson bushing with WW brass and .310 with Lapua,,,Redding bushings are always marked wrong,,usually they are .001-002" tighter than marked),,,Roger

HI Joe,,,you don't need to do any research,,,Kiff has already done it,,,he talks/deals with the best shooters in the country and knows what they are using and what is working,,,he has my reamer print on file,,,I don't know where my print is any more,,,all I ask is get the reamer from him,,,he has a lot of time/effort/experience invested in it,,,,,Roger
PS...get an 8" twist bbl....28" min,,,,

I will call and talk with Dave, I need to get another PPC reamer anyway. I was looking for good info on a reamer/ size die combo. I have chased this tail with a 6 PPC thinking I could do things better my way, nope.

I am just building a gun for shooting at large furry animals, not for competition. I shoot short range BR, that keeps me busy and broke.
