270 winchester want to try matrix 165

Loading info for 165 Matrix.......trying to bring new life into my Remington 700 bdl classic (1980,s ) 1-10 for hunting (antelope,deer elk & black bear ) 5500 elev 500 yards max..tried the nosler 150 LRAB no luck heard about these Matrix bullets .277 cal 165 grain .650 bc bullet length is 1.42"..info needed ...would I be able to use these thru the factory magazine C.O.A.L..what powders/ starting loads etc..using WW cases..Marshal (matrix ) said this bullet would work at my elev 5500-10k..but had no load info for the 270 Winchester..thank you Danny B

H1000 and IMR 7828 should be about right. Since the bullet base will likely be well into the body and robbing you of case capacity, I would try 7828. The Hodgon site says to start at 50 grains. In a factory 22-inch barrel I am betting you will be lucky to get 2700 fps but interested to know what the actual velocity and accuracy is.
 
Feman thank you for your reply ..I was wondering about IMR 7828..I tried H1000with other loads ( not 270) but did not get much vel ..called Wyatt on his extended magazine boxes said could get Coal of 3.825..just have see how much throat my 270 has ( factory rifle chamber)...Ggmac.. thank you for your comments with much respect..Danny
