270 pressure question

New to reloading and have a question or 2
270 Win Cooper 52 w/ non fluted barrel
WLR primer Barnes 130 TTSX Suppressor
6.5 ball powder .30 off lands(tried different and this seems to be best) 3.210 COL
54 gr 3078 2979 3010
57gr 3251 3319 3296
58 gr 3294 3373 3282

I just got a chrono yesterday (set it up 5 ft from end of can) and tried it out yesterday am (28 deg) I am very surprised by the velocity of the loads.
I inspected the case's and nothing seems to stick out as over pressure, but not sure the exact science to decide if i need to back off the load's. Seems pretty fast to me, and want to be safe. All 3 loads shot very good groups 3/4 MOA @ 100yrds
Should i take the spent casings and bolt to someone that would tell for over pressure?
Bolt did not stick whatsoever.

Thanks in advance

Move the chronograph out at least another 5’, 10’ might be better. If you see a velocity drop more than a few FPS, muzzle blast is interfering with the readings.

You have a fast barrel (and likely powder batch); you should be happy. Doubly so since it's also precise.

If you just can't live with, you could find someone with a barrel at the opposite end of the usual velocity and precision variations, and trade with them for a slow, imprecise barrel.

Having a fair amount of experience with the 270 Win I’d say something is wrong and you are right to be asking questions. I’d suspect the chrono. Yes you should have an experienced person take a look at the cases just to be sure

Agree with @HTSmith on this. I have a 24" barrel 270 Weatherby mag and the velocities you are getting with the 58 gr load resemble these. With my 270 Win I have never came close to the velocities you posted using 130 gr bullets although I have never tried 6.5 StaBal in it either. JMO

That is pretty dang fast for the 130 class bullet in a .270. Lot's of experience with it and never seen that with any powder I tried but never tried 6.5 Sta-ball powder either.
