.260Rem and 123gr. A-Max, Scenar and SMK

Waiting for my barrel to get here for a .260 I'm building and I need some good loads. I picked these bullets as they have a very high BC. for their weight and they won't take up as much powder space as the 140gr. Bergers I have for my 6.5-284. I have on hand some H1000, H4831sc, RL22 and Magpro. I'd be willing to go buy whatever I need though.

The ones you have on hand will be too slow for that cartridge and bullet. Try H4350 and R17.

H4350 is the ticket for the .260.

Dittos to that - if you are only going to buy one powder, it's hard go wrong with H4350 and the .260 Rem with the 120-123 gr bullets, and with the 139-142 gr bullets.
