260 to 6mmbr

I have a Rem 700 in 260 rem. It uses a Scott McCree stock with AICS magazines. I am thinking of having this made into a change barrel rifle. Will the 6mmbr rds feed from my 308 magazines? Will there be any other problems that need to be addressed?

You probably will have feeding problems with a 6BR. Since this is a short round with a long bullet I doubt it will feed reliably through your magazines. Loading single rounds will not be a problem.

If your going with a repeater, I would highly recommend the 6x6.5x47 Lapua. It will feed really well.

I will probably single feed it if I go this route and use the 260 as a repeater when needed. Thanks

You could use a .22-250 magazine box instead of your existing box and everything should feed alright, has a spacer in the rear, I believe.
