260 Remington Bench rest loads- HELP!!!!

Need some help. New straight 260 Remington, not an ackley. I've got a variety of bullets, 130 Bergers, 123 Scenars, 123 Amax ans 123 SMK's. Need a accuracy load for 1000 yard benchrest. Got all the powders except R17 (not an R17 believer). Need seating depths, primer and powder loads. Thanks in advance.

I get excellent results from moly-coated Hornady 129 gr. SST and Nosler 130 AccuBonds with 47 grains of H4831 SC in either Reminton or Nosler brass, using Federal 210M primers. Bullets are seated +0.010" into the rifling. Velocity is ~2900 fps out of a 26" Pac-Nor barrel with Polygonal rifling.

My ram loads for silhouette use 142 Sierra MKs with either 44.2 grains of H4831 or 41.2 grains of H4350 in Lapua brass, using Federal 210M primers. Velocity is 2670 FPS out of a 24" Shilen barrel. This is a relatively mild load that pushes the bullets just hard enough to achieve consistent knock-down of the 500 meter rams.

Best of luck,

I shoot F-Class with a .260 Rem. and have found that the 142 SMK and 139 Lapua's shoot really good out of my Bartlein 1-8.5 twist 30" barrel. I am currently loading 43.5grns of H4350 with the 142 SMK CCI 200 primer, and seating ten thousands off the lands (2.860 COAL) in my rifle. I am getting around 2850fps. It has been a accurate load for me, and has become my go to load. That being said I have shot the 123 SMK again loaded .01 off the lands with the same powder charge and primer as above, and they shot decent at 600, but I switched after I shot in a match that had 25mph full value wind, hoping the higher B.C. would fly a little better for me, so far I haven't had to shoot in the wind to test that theory.

if only we could re-do that match, you bring the 142s and i would have brought more ammo!!! it was still a blast!
