260 imp 30 - loads

Has anyone pushed the berger 130gr hybrids in a 260 imp 30*? I am wondering if they would achieve 3000 fps.

Buddy shoots a 139 scenar in 260 AI with 30 in tube at 3067 fps.

That velocity goal will not be difficult to achieve. I can get 140s over the 3,000 mark without much fuss and bother. RL-17, Hybrid 100V, 4831SC, H4350 - any of these powders (and many more, I'm sure) should get you there safely.

What length barrel you running? With longer lengths you will have no trouble reaching 3000

You could get that with a straight 260 and a 28" barrel. I get 2860 in mine with 140s and a 25" barrel.

I get 3000 with a 24-inch barrel and 129 Interlocks with a standard .260. You will not have an issue.

I can get 3K out of my 28" barrel with RL-17 with no pressure signs. My 26" tube will get me to 2,945 with the same load.
