I see where Nosler has introduced a new rifle and cartridge called the 26 Nosler. A 375 ruger necked to 264. The announcement said 3400 fps with the 129 gr ab lr.

No doubt about it, its greatest attribute will be extended barrel life.... I can only imagine necking it down to 6mm and then you will have something for long range, for a few rounds anyway.
