I was thinking of trying them in my 7 twist 25 creed. 90 grain Blitzkings shoot good, but a lot of wind drift. The numbers look better with these. If they’ll shoot.
Coyotes right now, but smaller varmints next spring. I’ll post my results.Windypants
Howdy!
Please do'let us know, how those bullets work out for you.
Will you be trying them on Rockchucks ?
With regards,

Did that seating length leave plenty of bullet shank in the case neck? Here’s three from a cold bore at 655 yards. I pulled the top one a little and it’s still comfortably sub-1/2. It’s ready for testing terminal performance on coyotes. Here’s the final load:
25 creed, Terminus Zeus SA, 26” 7 twist Hart
19X Lapua SRP brass, never annealed, .283 bushing (.002 NT)
CCI 450
42.2 gr Varget
95 gr ELD-VT .020 OTL, 3385 fps
COAL 2.883

I just loaded some 134’s for my new rifle, 2.875coal is all I can fit in my mdt mag that’s about.006 in from touch on my barrel.
Curious, did you neck down 6.5 Creedmoor Lapua brass?

Good catch! That was a typo. I corrected it to 42.2.Thanks, I noticed you wrote a different load in post #6 than your 655 yard post?
I just got the 100 grain .264 vt’s to try in my truck gun 6.5 creed. Very simple Savage with a 1” duplex scope, hoping to sight in a 200 and just hold on hair.Good catch! That was a typo. I corrected it to 42.2.

Evidently the accuracy is exceptional also.I got two coyotes today with the 95 ELD-VT’s. One broadside through the shoulder at 334 yards. It went ridgid and tipped over with no exit. Actually, not a drop of blood whatsoever!

The other was about 350 broadside through the ribs. It ran about 50 yards, but I could tell it exited because I could see the blood trail with my binos.

I think they’re going to work good for coyotes!
But a little touchy in the wind. I missed the wind call on a 710 yard shot.Evidently the accuracy is exceptional also.
Have you tried any of the 134 eldm’s for that type of longish shot? But a little touchy in the wind. I missed the wind call on a 710 yard shot.
I have a load for the 134’s, but after a couple of crawl-offs on rock chucks I quit them. The 135 Bergers kill very reliably. Almost always a bang/flop with a quarter sized exit. That would have been better for this shot. I just got to where I prefer a higher velocity round for coyotes as I have a much better kill ratio on follow up shots when I dont have time to range. I’ve been liking the 110 ELDX’s at 3130 fps and have taken coyotes out to almost 900 with that. I like my Wheeler 30-28/230 Berger combo for long shots. Wind callls are pretty easy.Have you tried any of the 134 eldm’s for that type of longish shot?
I thought to mention you’re right in line with Hornady’s manual load. It shows a max load of 42.4 grains with Varget. Here’s three from a cold bore at 655 yards.
