255 super match cartridge

Does anyone have any info/spec on the 255 super match cartridge? What is the parent cartridge case that it is formed from? There is one for sale, but I can't seem to find any info on the cartridge. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Boy, not much response for your question here. I checked a little, and found nothing too. So, what I would do is a chamber cast with Cerrosafe and get some dimensions from that and go from there.

Just guessing, they had a 25 super ? It was a 25 cal 308 base cart .
A chamber cast will tell for sure .

A chamber cast will not give case length or headspace You can get case body diameter and the shoulder/neck length might tell you what it was made from, but not necessarily.

The owner has a set of RCBS dies and 50 cases.

Has he explained to you the dimensions of the case, or how it differs from the 250 Ackley? You might check with a couple of reamer makers for information.
