250 Savage loads??

What are your most accurate 100 gr loads? I've been using 35.0 grs. H4895 & get .75" - 1" but nothing ever better. Not near as accurate as some of my other rifles.
My barrel is 10 T 24" Shilen Select. Shoots little bug holes with Berger 115 VLDs but can't get there with any 100 gr. bullet.
Thanks.

The only 250 Savage I have ever loaded for is my cousins Savage 99A. I had to re-crown the barrel first because he had carried it muzzle down on the carpet of his autos for years and it had done a number on the crown. After trying a few different powders I found that Hodgdons MAX load of 40.5 grs H 4350 in Hornady cases, CCi 200, Hornady 100 gr spire point, COAL 2.455 and because this is a leaver action I used a medium Lee Factory Crimp. 5 shots at 100 1/2". It blew him away when I took him the rifle and showed him the target. He said that the rifle had never shot that well ever. He has killed everything from ground hogs to deer with it.

I shoot 100gr Barnes TTSX in my Cooper M22 25 inch barrel. 3 loads that i use:
35grs. RL 15
34grs. N135
34grs. IMR 4064
All 3 are very accurate in my rifle and are max so I'd suggest drop down and work your way up.

Long time shooter of 250 - have two built on 700 actions, one with a Douglas#3 and the other with a Shilen#2 - Both 10-twist. With Rem brass, CCI BR primers, 35.0 gr H4895, OAL 2.785", I average 2840 fps & 1/2" groups with Nosler 100BT's and with Swift Scirroco 100's & 34.5 H4898, OAL 2.780", I average 2825 fps and 3/4". Barnes are still a work in progress with the 100TTSX & OAL's in the 2.700" range, I'm getting velocity about the same but have yet to find a sweet spot for anything under an inch. For what it's worth, I also have a 250 Sav AI with a Rock Creek 9-twist that I focus on heavier stuff (110-120 gr) but it shoots 100's at the same & higher velocities even better than the either of 10-twist.

Going back some years now to my Midway Adams and Bennet barrel...…..it really liked 75 Sierra varminters with 39grains of BL-C2 and with the 100 grain Sierra Spitzer BT, 39-40 grains of IMR 4350.
