I hate to see questions go unanswered but occasionally there are good reasons, especially where reloading wildcats is concerned.

This cartridge and bullet combination is relatively new so data is sparse which is an understatement to you I'm sure.
There are also a dozen or more combinations of throat and freebore dimensions which will affect load data minutia.

Enter at your own risk.

In my experience with this cartridge and bullet, I didn't have anywhere to start so I did a comparison to other 'similar' cartridges and just plain started somewhat low and worked my way up to where I found the nodes I wanted to use while preserving some brass life. The easiest cartridge to compare is the .25-06 Ackley Improved so I started there. The next choice is to use a powder which is slower than you might think of working with which can prevent an over pressure excursion right from the start. We're not looking for the perfect powder right away just something to get us in the ballpark.

I've used H-1000 as a preliminary powder of choice many times since it is slow for some case capacities in this area. I also work out of DBM frequently since it allows me to use an OAL of 2.925" as a working length. This length is perfect for the .25 RSAUM in my opinion. I can adjust my chamber accordingly when necessary. I drew on some of the data we generated for the 6.5 GAP 4S and started at 58 grains. Low pressure for sure but no scary stuff happening either. I worked up to 60 grains which is one grain short of where we stopped with the GAP because of the speed limit applied to PRS cartridges. The chronograph read just a pinch over 3,000 fps with measurements and visual check looking good. There is room to run another grain in the case (and then some...) and then gradually work up to about 3,100 fps without running into pressure signs. This is where you start to make decisions on your own. Your experience will help you going forward from here.

Other powders to consider: Re-25, VVN-565, Ramshot Magnum.

If case fill is a lesser consideration you can always use slightly faster powders, forgoing a full case but back down your charge to prevent the eventual pressure signs.

kurz,
thank you for the reply, i have been working with h1000 from 58 gr up to 61.5 gr. i have not chronghaphed the loads just trying to find what would group acceptable.
all of the loads had the bullets seated to .015 less than mag max length. the loads progressed at .5 gr increments.
The additional specs on the rifle are .081 freebore no turn neck, a bushed bolt done by LRI . Rem700 ss that has been trued, ground factory recoil lug, and a HS stock that has had the action area bedded with Devcon, free floated barrel channel, Farrel bases bedded to action , Farrel rings, every thing torqued symmetrically.
The only group that showed any indication of promise was the 61,5 but it showed signs of pressure with ejector pin mark, but still a 2 in at 100yds . the rest resembled a shot gun with no distinct indicators of a bedding issue ect.
I have done a fair amount of develpment work on other odd balls but this one has got me pulling my hair out, Begining to think it might make a good gate stick:cool:
