243AI alliant powder loads

I am going to be getting a good deal on Alliant powders through work. I am shooting a 243AI with 75-95g bullets with a 1-10' twist. Just wondering whats working for you, because I am looking at taking advantage of these discounted prices. Any heads up is appreciated.

JJH I have had my best luck using 87gr V-max and a powder burn rate around the 4350 range. My 243AI Rem is also a 1-10 twist Pac-Nor barrel.
Longest P-dog with it has been just over 750 yards.

Best of Luck

Alliant powder....get some 15, 17, 19. Alot of the 15 and 17. Easier to sell if you don't like it.

Where do you live so I can get in on some of the action. :D

The only .243 Winnie Pooh powders I've firmly settled upon are Hodgdon H4350 for light fare and Alliant RL-22 for heavy fare if this helps any afforementioned discussions. cliffy

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't loaded with alliant powder before, have usually used IMR or Hogdon still learning this reloading thing.

As for getting in on the action, sorry no dice. I can buy it discounted, but if I sell it and get caught I get fired. I'm sure I could get away with it, but no sense in risking it. Plus I'm capped at $1000 a year so I am sure I will use up, as I spent about $700 last year.

I've never used RL-15 powder, but have heard great things about it. Relating to 70 Grain Varmint loads, I'd guess it's as good as the Hodgdon H4350 I use: Velocity and Accuracywise. Alliant makes Great powder. Cliffy
