243AI 75 vmax???

What sayeth the masses.........

If i can get a 75gr Vmax up to 38-3900fps. will i stand a chance of it stabilizing in a 14 twist barrel,or am i just dreaming?????? ;D

I would think that with the extra velocity of the AI it would probably work. Why would you choose the 14 twist when there are other options.

Actually it is a barrel from another project that never materialized,so i kinda already have it.....

If it dosent work it won`t be the end of the world,i`ll just use the 70nbt....

I made 3800 with 71 gr berger and a 12 twist and H414 powder

Read the article about Richard Franklin and his 6mm Rem. A.I.! He's using a 14 twist Krieger pushing them about 3,860 but, he said not all 14 twists would stabilize that bullet. Good luck and don't forget to try the 70gr. Speer TNT! They're very accurate for a relatively inexpensive bullet.
