.243 Wssm

Now that the cartridge has been out a while, have any of you been experimenting with the 6mm wssm. I'd like to hear about load development and some of your results. I had one group out of mine that was in the .2's but the brass seems inconsistent and there are varying velocities with the same powder charge. Also the thing seems to swell brass badly and I have tried to drop to lower charges on several loads with similar results, and it slightly craters primers on the hot loads and seemingly low charges as well, how low can I go? Seems to be a nightmare gun but fun, Help needed please!,I know re-chamber the rifle!) I can't afford to build another gun yet! Oh the accurate load was 68g berger match, with 43.5gr H380 chronographed at 3400fps. Seated touching the lands. This is actually lower than the recommended start load for the 70gr bullet on hodgdons' website.
Any help out there?

The 243 wssm has the potential to be a great round but as you have found the brass is the pits! I tried it in one of my Bat actions and just about threw it in the river! All the years I've reloaded I haven't found a round as frustrating as this one. I have a lot of brass, dies and boxes at a good deal if interested!
