.243 Winchester Loads

Folks ,
I just last night loaded 2 groups of " Cecil Tucker 67 grain Match " bullets.
Both have a 2.69 COAL - Remington 9 1/2 Magnum Primers .
One group is 42.1 grains of Accurate 2700
The other group has 44.1 grains of Accurate 4350.
These test loads are for a Ruger No.1a with a Leupold 5HD 2X10X44. Penrod Precision did the bedding-the trigger and stock work.
I'm looking for input on these loads ; too hot , not enough etc. Has anyone used these bullets or heard of them . I bought them from "Foxhunter"
Thank you in advance for you time, help and consideration.

Hodgdon online manual shows 68-grain bullets with both powders. Good place to start, but remember to start low and work up slowly.

I've got all the manuals.
The Tucker bullet is the question.

That was my point...not very likely to find the 'Tucker bullet' specifically in any but the manufacturer's manual (if one even exists), but compare other manufacturer's 68-grain bullets and loads, start low and work up. That's why I mentioned Hodgdon site...both the powders you mentioned are listed all on one site.

43 gr of H-4831 / H-4831sc with ANY 105-107 gr bullet.

47 gr of H-4831sc with 80 gr Berger Varmint.

46.3 gr of H-4831sc with 85 gr Sierra GAMEKING BTHP.

All the above have always been super accurate in ALL my 243win rifles / barrels.
All in Winchester brass and 210m primers.

Enjoy !

Only your barrel will know for sure if they're hot or not. Start with manual 'START"loads of that bullet weight and work up.

The Hodgdon starting loads may not expand the case necks. Sign of low pressure. The 4350 should get more accurate as you near maximum. Watch for hard bolt lift. Good luck.

Have not shot your loadings. Have shot Berger 68 gr FB Match with IMR 4350 in 10 TWIST 40X 243. Under 1" at 300 yards.(on a good day)
