243 win h4350 105 hybrids

105 Hybs...

2.830" COAL (shorter coal will raise pressures, also make sure you're not in the lands)

40 gr was most accurate for me, but went up to 42 with out pressure in WINCHESTER brass which has more capacity than LAPUA.
40 gr is a VERY mild load in my rifle, but doesn't mean it's gonna be in yours.

But I abandoned this load because 43 gr of H-4831sc shoots tighter. Same thing for 46.5 gr RL-25 shoots a little better than H4350... In my rifle. Your rifle could love H4350, no way to tell till you try.

108 eldm didn't work out in my 243. no matter what I tried, it didn't match the accuracy of 107smk and 105 berger (VLD & Hyb.).

Thank you!

Here is my 243 WIN load:
  • 105 Hybrid
  • 41.0gr H4350
  • 210M
  • Lapau
  • 28" Criterion 1:8
  • 3,191 avg. MV
  • No Pressure Signs
I am not representing this load would be safe in your rifle or even advocating you try it, just saying it works fine in mine.

Since I was getting short on the H4350 powder for my 6mm and 6.5 Creedmoor loads I decided to try IMR 4350.

My favorite loads for 6mm CM was 40.6gr with a 105 gr hornady match at 2980 FPS (.5 MOA at 600 yds groups).

I tried 41.2gr of IMR 4350, 2843 FPS and got really go sub .5moa at 100 yds.

Going to bump it up .2gr to see if I can get the 2980 FPS range.

Haven't tried RL powder yet.

That is the fun of reloading. You can tailor your loads to your gun.

I'm happy to say I think I found a good subsitute for my lack of H4350.

Tried RL17 today at the range for both my 6.5 and 6mm creedmoors.

Got sub .5 MOA at 100 yds and very close to my FPS when using H4350.

Reduced my loads of H4350 by 1GR and got really good results with RL17.

At least I can start my shooting league tomorrow with some confidence that I will be able to shoot every week without running out of powder.

If anyone is short of H4350 try the RL17.
