Hello,

For those of you shooting the .243 Win... what are you getting for the following dimensions:

* Case neck wall thickness out of the box,please note brand)
* Loaded round neck diameter,please note if neck-turned)
* Fired round neck diameter
* Chamber neck size,if tight or fitted neck)

Thanks,

Monte

243 win with nech turned to 269 loaded, I dont reccord neck thickness I lathe turn neck with a dial gauge as direct readout up to get the right thickness .

for 243 tight chamber with a neck and lead "look a like " 6 Norma BR, 0.271 chamber )

that VERY accurate with SAKO case, the best in 243 WIN, I use too Lapua but some batch is ???in quality

can be better with a longer OAL but reamer is as it so OAL is 2.875 with Lapua Scenar, engraving contact )

headspace is set to 1.628 to be closer to case dims BUT keep gaps on lugs and avoid galling

good shooting

Monte,

We're going to do a story with George Gardner of GA Precision. He shoots a "plain jane" .243 win with DTAC 115s. He says it hammers. You might send him an email if you can't wait for the story. But he seems to have the round really worked out. He's running H4831 short cut I believe, no-turn necks,or just a tiny bit of clean-up).
