.243 fire forming

just need a little bit of help gents .I am thinking of fire forming some new brass for my .243 ai using pistol powder and a wax plug but i am not sure on how much powder to use .any help would be great .

About 8 grains of bullseye or something close,, corn meal or cream of wheat{dry} to fill the case and wax the top.
I don't think you will be happy with the results,, it leaves the shoulders alittle rounded. Dirty too !
 
Most all fire forming loads will shoot so good you can use it for shootin critters while fire forming.
That cereal stuff is for the birds....
 
I fire form my 243 AI's with 47.0-47.5g of 760 with a 70g Bullet and get amazing accuracy and velocity, Rem Case with CCI-250 primers.

If you put enough bullseye in the case to fully fire form it, you may have loose primer pockets on some of the brass.
