243 bushing

Whidden F/L bushing die. For 243 they make .263 through .268 in .001 increments. Would this be right? Sized down to .268 minus case neck wall thickness of .015 times two .03 would give me .238 inside diameter. .243 - .238 = .005. Neck tension? Or divide .005 by two also? And if I'm not wrong doesn't a .263 bushing seem really tight. Ps my fired brass opens to .2770. Mike

You will only be able to load your brass 1 or 2 time if you do that. .015 thick neck wall is very thin and if you going to work them .009 they will split very fast. I like to keep my neck to where they only expand .002, they last forever that way. Never take any more off the case necks than you have to to keep them uniform and get the bushing size you need to load them.
