Hey guys,
I posted a little while ago about a .243 AI build, and since then I've ordered the stock and barrel, now just have the wait to deal with. The gun obviously will not be ready for some time, but I'd like to get some of the small stuff (bullets, powder, etc.). I've found some loads on here and other sites, but they do not give real specifics at times (barrel twist, length)
The barrel I went with (off of the gunsmith's recommendation) is a Benchmark. It's a 1:10 twist, 6 groove, and 27 inches in length. I went with a slightly longer barrel cause I would like to shoot up to 95 grain bullets for whitetail, hoping I can get some more velocity to stabilize it. I'm also hoping to shoot 70+ grain varmint bullets.
So I was hoping some of you could post your loads that you use, and others you've tried, with your barrel lengths, twists, etc. Any input is welcomed. Thanks
