243 - 6mmbr

Hi all whats involved in changing a 243 into a 6mmbr ? would i have to rebarrel the rifle,

Hi i have done just what you would like to do i had a brand new Rem VLS in 243 sent it to my gunsmith the Factory barrel was set back action Trued and bedded and trigger adjusted it shoots under .3 at 100 when i do my part. i als had the barrel cut to 22" for ease of use out of a vehicle. the rounds feed from the mag if i place them at the back htere is an article to change the mag if you search the articles. How old is the barrel if it has a heap of ammo down it replace it if it is near new just rechamber it. My dad had a Sako done aswell both with a 271 neck.

ty bill the rifle has mybe fired 200-250 rounds its not shot out, its just i like the 6mmbr but also i like the rifle its a cz550 american, 24" with PES sound mod,

sounds great should be great the single stack CZ mag should work fine aswell.
