240 gibbs load data

Does anybody have any info on load data that they can share? Any bullet, powder combination will do.

Data for the 240, 250 and 6.5 mm Gibbs are in P.O. Ackley's pair of books and the hand loader's manual of cartridge conversions respectively.

I shoot a 6mm-06 Improved and blown out which is basically the same cartridge.

Shooting 105 A-max. 57.0 gr Ramshot Magnum. F215M primers, Preped Win brass. Running at 3,250 fps with excellent accuracy. You should have a node at or right around 3,250 fps.

The load in mine is relatively conservative ....... 70Bal tip with 61.0/IMR 4831, velocity 4100fps. This isn't near topend but you'd want to start lower anyway. That bullet at that speed is very flat shooting and accurate.....1/4" groups zeroing the gun. The barrel is straight/untapered 1.25" PacNor 13" twist, 28" long. This is a rockchuck gun and not for volume shooting.
