#23 with videos!

I made it out the other evening despite the gusting and switchy winds. Tried videoing the hunt for your enjoyment and posterity. I was using the .17 Fireball again and it was the same field as my previous posts. it was about an hour before this Boar appeared 102 yards from the bench. You can see in the video some of the wind I was dealing with. Another head shot for my friend Snert! First video is standard speed and the second is slow motion.

The next appeared at 280 yards and the winds seemed calm were it was but obviously I didn't allow for the swale and winds between us! I held left fur and by the bullet trace it appears to miss just right. Dang wind! It did make for a nice video and seeing the trace makes up a bit for the miss. again first is standard and slow motion second. Enjoy gentlemen!

nice MrM. I just learned how to post pics, now i'll have to learn how to post videos. not sure how to stabilize my phone/camera to get the steady pics like yours...any hints? thanks.

That slo-mo under the chin reminds me of the guys i've seen, drunk in the bar when someone takes a swing that misses under the chin..."whoa! What the....time to git!"

Good stuff. Looks like the grass is really up. It is starting to get high here too, maybe another 10 days before things shut down for a bit in the grass fields...time to hit the pastures.

I use the camera/camcorder attachment for the BogPod. The pistol grip function allows me to get on target quicker. I need one more piece of equipment to carry afield with me! My Panasonic SDR-S26 has a 70X optical zoom and wasn't that expensive.
