22x47 Lapua loads

Hey guys just wanted to talk about the 22x47 Lapua and loads you guys are using.
Anyone shooting 69 to 75 grain projectiles?
Anyone tried Reloder 16 or 17 in the 22x47 Lapua ?

I started using the 85.5 Bergers and will continue to do so until I run out then switch.

Your Reloder powders are a little too fast in my barrels. I'm running Re23, Hybrid 100V and VVN-550. The Hybrid 100V is a very cool burning powder which is great when I shoot PDs. N-550 is hot and fast but hard on any barrel.

You can accomplish the same things with the 22 GT case also.

I know you're asking about the lighter bullets. My rifle shoots the 88 ELD Match really good. Using H 4350, Peterson brass with Wolf smr primers. Shoots like a laser. Getting 3174 fps & a sd of 6.2.

I shoot a round very similar to the 22x47l I’ve had good luck running 55 grain v max with n140 39grains 3640 avg speed. My favorite round is 85.5 hybrid running 2965 with h4350 38 grains it’s a laser beam. On top of all this my barrel measure 17in it’s a carbon proof 1-8twist

I know this is an old thread BUT i'm trying to find a starting point with the 62 gr ELD VT. I typically use an 80 gr bullet and H4350 but I want something a little faster. Has anyone been down this road yet?

Start with 37.5 and go up. Although 37.5 should shoot.

I would try h4350 first. Then subtract two grains and try Varget.
