22ppc with 80s?

Has anyone had any experience with 22ppc shooting 80gr bullets?? Thinking of using factory sako brass.

I read an article by German slatzer I think and he seemed to think it was too hard to find a good load?

About 15-18 years ago several people were shooting 22 PPC's on the AR frame.
The biggest advantage (in my opinion) was being able to shoot 80 gr bullets out of the magazine for 300 yd rapid fire. The wind changes during your string did not affect you quite so much as with the other lighter bullets.
The next logical step was to neck the cases up to 6mm, which many did, with very good results.
To shoot the PPC case out of the AR magazine, some tweeking of the magazine lips are required.
Most of us shooting the PPC cartridges out of the AR quit as it was a lot of time consuming work, and a .223A! case with the right powder would give similar results, with MUCH cheaper brass.

I've bought a hall ppc action and am looking at building something for my gf who has never shot before to shoot long range with. My first choice is a .223 so she can shoot f class but it might be too much work to Bush the bolt face and modify the extractor.
