Who has messed with one of these short PPC's
I can't seem to find any info on load data etc.
I know to start low and work up slowly
but I was hoping to find someone who is shooting one thanks

I shoot a Waldog which is .125 short. Good powders VV-130, VV-133, H-4198,
old lots of H-322 from Scotland and of course a 52 gr bullet. Start low at
23 gr and work up from there.

I believe that if I ever get the itch again, I'll chamber a 22 Beggs. Way more time for shootin instead of brass making. Not so sure theres a nickles worth of difference in the lot of them.

I agree. The barrel and bullets make the biggest difference.

I agree thats the way to go if you want to shoot a 22 PPC short, still a lot more expense and I've never seen any advantage. Your mileage may vary on this.

I have the .100 short version. I start with .223 Rem loads and usually blow right by the and keep going. My chamber is tight and brass doesn't seem over pressured. Lots of good powders for this chambering but X-terminator is my favorite. Found three nodes. Fine ball powder so throwing charges is easy too. You can't go wrong with n133 either.
