22LR cleaner

I was wondering if any of you guys knew what the best 22LR barrel cleaner to get and use

I like Bore Tech Rimfire Blend but I've also used Hoppes (also mixed with Kroil), Proshot, I'm sure there's others I'm missing. They all seem to do the job pretty well. If I'm being honest, I use CLP more than anything. Based on what I've seen with the bore scope it seems to work pretty well

Kroil and a nylon brush followed by patches with the same. Clean about every 500 rounds. Use a quality bore guide that fits well. Dont overthink the cleaner IMO.

My guns take very few rounds to get back to grouping well. Not IBA guns so keep in mind

I use three, depending on which one is handiest. Ballistol, Butches Bore Shine and Boretech C4 carbon remover. All three work well and I typically don't overclean the barrels. The actions do get more frequent attention, to get the grime off the bolt faces, mag wells, etc.

For 22 LR cleaning I do something similar -

1 - a couple of patches soaked with Kroil then let it set for an hour or so to give the Kroil time to work its way into the carbon.
2 - run another soaked patch through to push out the loosened carbon.
3 - a brushing with Kroil on the brush.
4 - another Kroil soaked patch to push out the crud.
5 - a couple of dry patches.
6 - my barrels usually settle in after 10 - 15 shots.

I have borescoped my barrels after using this method and they are very clean and carbon free. Although if the barrel has been neglected the first time using this method may take more than one cleaning, after the initial good cleaning mine have been very easy to clean using this method.

I know we all have different methods and I am just saying this is the one I use, it is likely that there are other methods that work just as well.

Thank you guys so much for all the info I will be trying out a couple of these methods

2 patches with JB then 4 or 5 dry patches. I clean ~ around 1,000 rounds. my 40X has over 25,000 rounds on the factory barrel since I've had it, was used when I bought it. It still shoots competitive NRA smallbore, me, sometimes . . . .

I like Ed's Red, which is a formula that Col. Ed Harris came up with many years ago. It's equal parts Dexron II ATF, mineral spirits, kerosene, and acetone. Because of the acetone, Ed's Red has to be stored in a glass container. I don't use it much in CF bores, but it's my go-to solvent for .22RF bores.
