22lr 50-200 yd Steel Critters match

Hello to all, Brushy Mountain Club in Hurt VA (between Danville and Lynchburg) is going to host 6 matches this year in long range 22lr. We will be shooting 1/5 scale silhouette targets welded to swingers and mounted similar to a "know your limits" target stand. Chickens at 50, pigs at 100, turkeys at 150, rams at 200. Five targets on each stand , two minutes to shoot 5, sighters on 1st relay only, are part of your time. 2nd relay repeats same five with no sighters. Total of 10 points on each stage. We have 10 covered benchs on a nice slab and will shoot all four stages concurrently. Shooters will pair up and will draw for order of stages. Second shooter will score and can spot if requested. That pair will alternate shooting and scoring before advancing to the next stage. No regular partner, no problem. Plenty of friendly shooters to help out. Match director reserves the right to modify the format.

Rifles are 22lr with only production ammo, no reloaded 22lr. Single shot or repeater, time limit is same. Bipods and sandbags with no rear adjustable rest. Cost is $20 with half back for award. Additional money shoot will be available, 200 or 300 yd target decided at match by director. Hope to see some shooters and have a good time. 16 April is first match at noon. We will be there around 10 for setup. Registration at 11. Early pre match shooting as safety allows.

Do you have sighter at each distance on the first relay? What are you using for sighting in? I want to make some of your matches this year. We are going to knockdown targets this year, at RRRC Long Range 22LR matches.
