22LR @150 yds.

I have a fun shoot coming in a couple weeks @150yds.
We can only practice right now @100yds.
They are going to close the range for this and setup between the 100 and 200
Will my current (match, subsonic)100yds ammo choice be good to 150?
Or do I need to run a test with some others and find a way to
test at 150?

I would try the best 2 or 3 from your 100 testing 100 and go to 150 and test. If you can't test before the match my GUESS would be the best at 100 would hold true at 150.

Good ammo should track from 100 to 200 yd at least.

I would guess you can adjust for bullet drop the day of the comps when you get access to 150.

I have found, over the years, that the best ammo(s) at 50 yards were not necessarily the best at 100 yards, but every time I found ones that worked well at 100 yards in any particular 22, it/they also worked well at 150 to 200. My findings aren't a guarantee, but that's the way it has worked for me; hopefully it will work the same for you.

I shoot the 4" clay targets at 230 yards frequently at my range and all I use is a 10/22 with a 16" tac-sol barrel. I find that the high velocity copper solid 40 grain bullets do very well. I consistently hit the target and its fragments. Unfortunately I do not shoot groups at that distance. I find that the high velocity rounds in my range perform better than standard velocity or subsonic and there is always a constant swirling breeze. I do not notice much of an effect of the bullet going through the transonic stage and it seems to be easier to manage the wind corrections being able to hit at times 8 to 9 times direct hits at the clay targets consistently. I do have more difficulty with a subsonic bullet and I'm thinking that it has more time for the wind to affect its trajectory as it catches the bullet more at the lower speeds. Just an observation and my 2¢.

What works for me at 100 yards, works for me at 300 yards.
Use what works for you at 100, adjust for drop at 150, and have fun!

With my center-x 40gn running an avg of 1043MV my adjustment for 150yd in MOA is 19.1 and for Mils is 5,5.

Looks like that adjustment is from you 50yd. zero, yes?

here is what I have found on my home range behind my machine shop. I have built several of the rimx rifles now for customers and myself I have used shilen ratchet twist on every one of these builds except for one I used a lilja . Long range 22 is all about getting the right dope. your basically lobbing these bullets onto target consistency and wind reading are the key factors. I like using an ammo that has the best Standard Deviation Consistency of velocity is a key component for sure. In my rifles Lapua Midas Has been the clear winner with SD numbers always below 5 . SK Long range has also been a good choice.

Regarding ammo choice, while I am only shooting at steel NRL22 targets, most everyone is shooting subsonic, mathc ammo even past 200yds. SK rifle match, center X, etc. One guy say he had better results using SK long range match, like skeetlee suggests, which is a little faster than SK rifle match. Some of the 22 PRS or NRL bonus stuff can reach out to 300 and to my (limited) knowledge, the same subsonic match ammo is used for all.
