22BR load suggestions

The barrel is an 7.5 twist. I’m going to try 77gr Sierra TMK in it first. Just wondering what powder and bullets others use that shoot a 22BR. Thanks

For many years AA2015 was my go to powder for my .22BR. That is until 8208XBR came along. A match made in heaven! If one of these 2 powders will not shoot in your rifle, there is a gun problem. I shot many 75 A-max for coyote hunting for many years. Good luck and let us know how it is going. Great caliber.

28grs of 8208xbr or 29gr of varget behind an 80.5 Berger. Approach these loads with caution. Expect 1 hole accuracy

I imagine you can shoot the 90s with a 7.5 twist

Well I finally had time to shoot this 22BR at 100yds. With no load work I thought it shot good for the first time. I don’t think it’ll be to tuff to get it really shoot’n!

I finally got around to testing this load at 300yds.

Try you some N-135 under some 75gr berger vld’s and your eyes will open up

CCI 450 primer, Lapau brass, 31g Varget, 40 vmax for prairie dogs, Barts 52g ultra for benchrest. I shoot in the one’s with the Barts. 5 shot group

This is a 7.5 twist and got it for the purpose of using heavier bullets. 70 to 85 grain.

I use the same load for 6br 10 twist , with 87g vmax same result.
