22br 7 twist bullets

Anyone out there shooting a 22br with a 7 twist barrel? Curious on what ballets will stabilize, 80 amax? 90 Berger?

The 22 BR should stabilize the 90 grain Berger Target Bullets at 2700 per second or faster. Not suer what velocity you can get out of the 90 grainers.

In my. 223, I am getting 2850, so I feel that the. 22BR can prob go beyond that.

I'm thinking the be should shoot 90,s at around 3000fps. Just kinda want a barrel that isn't just for the 90 bergers. Will the 80 amax hold togather at that twist

Hi,
I run 80g B VLD's in a 1:8 twist 22 BR at 3200 fps with no problems, my case is full, so I would expect a slight drop in speed.

I ran 80 Amaxs with a 1-7" Krieger with no ill effects.......

But once I throated it for the 90 gr. Bergers the AMax is way far away from the lands....still shoots 77's & 80's in both Berger and Sierra just fine.
