I am trying to find a bullet my 22br likes. Have shot the 85.5 90 and 80 gr Berger’s. 80 shot the best out of those 3. But still not totally satisfied. Picked up a box of the 69 tipped mk Locally today just to try something lighter. Has anyone used theses or have any pros and cons thanks.

I use the 69 gr. TMK in a 8 twist tikka t3x 223 (varmint barrel) rifle and they shoot about a 1/2 inch at 100 yards. I shoot this bullet for groundhog hunting and it does very well, I have kills over 300 yards with this rifle.

Can you share the results you've gotten so far and what you are looking for?

My 22br loves the 69's tmk.
But also loves to 80's. And I built it with the idea of shooting the 80's at mid to long range.

When I want to shoot short range I load the 69's.

I wanted to shoot 75 or 80s it’s a 1 in bull 1-7.7 twist Bartlein. Averages between 1/2 and 3/4 inch at 100yds. Best I have got to it to shoot at 300 yds has been 3shot groups at a inch. With the 80 gr Berger’s and Varget. Have had other shooters shoot it with same results

While it's 'only' a three shot group, 1" at 300 yards could be pretty good.
How is the rifle set up? E.g., for benchrest? F class? etc.

Built it to shoot some local benchrest matches that we have at a friends farm. Just for fun

Interesting what the difference in expectations are in the various disciplines. I shoot 'cross the course' - .3 MOA would be fabulous for me. If we get 1/2 MOA loads, we're done with load development.

Maybe it’s me. Maybe I am expecting to much. But I do have a 6 br that will shoot under a inch pretty consistently at the same distance.

You're not expecting too much of a 22BR. Maybe your gun/barrel/load isn't up to it just yet. Have you seen my log:

I don't know if anything in there will be of use, but I found the 88ELDs to shoot the smallest of the many things I tried. 80ELDs also shoot very small.

88ELD, IMR4350: http://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/my-new-22br.3981971/#post-37532253

Ah, I was just reflecting on the difference in needs/expectations among different disciplines.
I simply stop when I get a couple groups at 1/2 MOA because it's all I need for XTC. Our smallest X ring is 3/4 MOA.

I'm shooting an IBS type match on Saturday with them.
Rifle is factory barreled Savage 110FP.
Trigger work by me.
Sightron STAC 4-20X50
Choate Ultimate Varminter stock.
Barrel is 24 inch 1:9.

Well finally got around to testing the 69 gr tmk. Happy so far . Only a hundred yards but definitely the best groups out of any bullet so far. Hopefully get to test at 300 or 400 in the next few days.10FA54BE-039D-499A-A417-2DEABFF9B2E3.jpeg
