225 Hornady BTHP

Looking for input on the Hornady 225 BTHP. I shoot a lot of Berger 215's in my .300 and they are a hammer, but the cost is wearing my wallet out. I am looking for an acceptable alternative. Any of you 300 WM shooters ever work with the 225?

I shoot mostly 208's with H1000 & 225's with RL33. RL33 loves the heavies in my 300. I'm running 81grains in sorted Winchester brass with the 225's @ 2950' & .5moa out to 600. I single load these & seat them long with a .005" jump. If memory serves me correctly this is a max load. Work up slowly.

For the time being I would go to the 208 ELD-M. Uniform BC's. They shoot great for me. I've stretched them out to 1285 yds. so far. But stay tuned, good things are in the pipeline.
