225 gr. Flex tip bullet

I’ve got a reloading question to all that may have information.
I bought a box of 225 gr. Flex tip bullets to load in my 45acp. First time I’ve bought these. I’m seeing now that these go for the 45 long colt.
Is it possible to load these in 45acp brass ??
If so what powder ? Grains ? Total length?
I try to do everything safe. I just think I messed up by buying these. Thanks for your info. Tim

I'd purchase the correct bullet for your 45 ACP.

Bullet diameters are slightly different. Those intended for the 45 LC are 0.452" diameter vs 0.451" diameter for the 45 ACP.
