224 Valkyrie and 88 eldm's

Finally got my Valkyrie out to the range today., shooting 88 ELDM's over cfe223. Groups were ok, nothing special. Handloads did outperform Hornady factory ammo, but I think there's more to be had. Anyone have experience with another powder and this bullet?

I had decent results with Re -17 in a gas gun.

Is this a gas gun or bolt gun?? I have data on both. I had a custom bolt gun reamer made with a much longer coal to take advantage of case capacity.

I have test data as well in a 22" Rainier Ultramatch gas gun...

88 ELD shot best in my seating depth test at 2.28" COAL with cfe223... 24.9gr 2547 0.250" groups... (SLOW)

80 ELD with 24.8gr H4895 2885 SD 6

80 Amax 25gr 8208 XBR 2894 SD 3

gas gun. 20" 1/7 barrel. Ran loads with cfe 223 from 23.8-25.0 grains with .3 grain steps. Best groups were between 24.1-24.4 grains.

What was your COAL? 2.28" shrunk right up for me with cfe223 24.9gr

You should have at least out to 2.30+/- in your mag... at least my ASC did have more than that
