.224 ELD 80 gr. load data?

Any one have some load data they would share for Hodgon 223 powder and the 80 gr. ELD bullets in .223 Rem?

I've tested up to 24.7 gr H4895 and up to 26.2 gr CFE 223 at 2.515" OAL in my Criterion barrel with a 223 match chamber (long throat). That charge with H4895 is higher than I'd comfortably load again (over 2k ft/s at 600 yards), so be cautious and work up from well within manufacturer published load data. I haven't finished either load, just the first round of testing; I settled on 22.3 gr AR Comp at 2.500" OAL for the moment and am shooting that in this weekend's Downeast Regional.

What vel did you get with 24.7gr H4895? Im also using a CBI (24”) with 2.515” col. I got 2825fps avg with 23.8gr but had awful SD (20fps +) and severe primer cratering. No other pressure signs tho. Just wondering what a reasonable vel might be.

Did you measure your col to the rifling? I’m getting around 2.580”, but the max col w/o the boat tail in the neck is about 2.515”. seems like an excessive jump with a vld.
