.223 stripper clip guide slot?

I have one somewhere... There are several different types of clip slots. Some are designed to push the clip out when closing the bolt, some trap the clip and it must be pulled out. What are you slotting and what is the intended use? The trickiest part is the square corners at the back of the slot, and also the stop tabs on the clips themselves as well as the corresponding cuts in the slot. I used to do these a bit for highpower competitors, but now mostly for guys building up Vietnam era M40 clones.
