223 rem vls

anyone know offhand what the twist rate is on the vls?? i have just came by a used one in very good shape, guy said less than 200 shots out of it, and no reloads, all black hills ammo,,, i'm wantin to do some reloadin for it and don't know what i can handle in it yet,, would probably stick with 55's or 60's if i can,,

Most Factory Rem. in .223 come with a 12 twist.

I have a VLS in .223 and it likes 40-50 gr. bullets the most. Groups open up with the heavier stuff.
