223 nato match

I just bought a new barrel from benchmark, chambered in 223 NATO match. Can you tell me difference in NATO match than the other 223 chambers?

never heard of it. You'll need the chamber print to understand the difference.

Nato match should be throated for 69 grn bullets and all other military ammo.

I could never understand why they call it a NATO cartridge. I guess it's because all of the countries chamber their combat rifles in this spec so that ammo is interchangable among allies in the treaty while on the battle field. I wonder if the next cartridge will be designated a UN cartridge. Then a UN "match". What a funny fish bowl we live in huh?
